CHDE - Child Development - Advanced Certificate

The growing field of early childhood education Birth through Kindergarten (B-K) and Pre-K through 3 (PK-3) include many different job opportunities. This advanced certificate is a terrific starting point to an Early Child Development AAS or an opportunity to upskill. The coursework for this certificate may lead to a variety of career options including a childcare teacher, or positions requiring additional coursework, degrees or certification. The child development program offers courses for those seeking their Child Development Associate (CDA) credential through the state of Michigan. The CDA credential is the most widely recognized credential in early childhood education and is a key stepping-stone on the path of career advancement.
